SliceOps & the EU AI Act
The EU AI Act (Reg. 2024/1689) governs how AI systems are built, documented, and overseen. SliceOps doesn't certify you — it gives you the engineering discipline that produces the Act's evidence as a byproduct of shipping.
Human oversight — Article 14
P3, Human-in-the-Loop Authority, keeps humans in command: agents propose, people dispose. Merges, scope, and architectural calls need explicit human approval — and that approval is recorded, not assumed.
Transparency — Article 50
Every decision carries provenance: who decided, human or agent, and why. AI-assisted work is disclosed by design, so the line between human authorship and agent execution is always on the record.
Record-keeping & technical documentation
P1 (Decision Integrity) and P2 (Audit Plane) make every architectural decision a recorded, traceable artifact. P6 (Evidence by Construction) produces the documentation per slice — not reconstructed the week before an audit.
Risk & change management
P7 (Security by Construction) gates every slice; P10 (Infrastructure Continuity) puts infra under the same discipline. Changes stay atomic, reviewed, and evidenced.
SliceOps produces the decision trail, the evidence, and the human-oversight record the Act expects. The conformity assessment is still yours to run — but the evidence already exists.
